Ohio State freshman quarterback Air Noland entered the transfer portal Monday, as first reported by On3.
Noland, once a four-star prospect and the No. 7 quarterback in the class of 2024, was an early enrollee at Ohio State in January and did appear in the spring game, going 5-for-7 for 47 yards and an interception, but he did not see action in the regular season.
After the addition of Julian Sayin to the quarterback room in early 2024 and a crowded quarterback room, the southpaw quarterback was unable to find footing in the depth chart.
Noland joins fellow quarterback Devin Brown, wide receivers Jayden Ballard and Kojo Antwi, offensive lineman Miles Walker and linebacker Gabe Powers as Buckeyes who have entered their name into the winter transfer portal window.
The Fairburn, Ga., native will now look for a fresh start elsewhere while Ohio State looks to capture a College Football Playoff round one victory.
