Recruiting: Ohio State Offers Prospects From Second One-Day Camp
Ohio State held its second one-day camp of the month on Thursday, and there were many players there who impressed enough to earn an offer from the Buckeyes by the end of the day.
The Buckeyes sent offers out to Waukee, Iowa, tight end Evan Jacobson (6-7, 220), Richmond (Va.) St. Christopher’s School four-star offensive lineman Darius Gray (6-3, 277), Saline, Mich., three-star tight end Lincoln Keyes (6-6, 220), Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts (6-0, 187), Norcross, Ga., four-star defensive lineman Carter Luckie (6-5, 250) and Milton (Fla.) Pace four-star offensive lineman Grant Wise (6-3, 300), who are each in the 2026 class. They also offered Huntington Beach, Calif., quarterback Brady Edmunds (6-5, 200) in the 2027 class.
Jacobson is currently unranked by 247Sports composite ranking but he has 11 other Division I offers at this point including Illinois, Indiana, Kansas State, Miami, Missouri and Wisconsin among others.
Gray has an impressive list of scholarship offers, boasting 35 of them total including from Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, James Madison, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, USC along with many more. He is currently ranked the No. 56 overall player in the class.
Keyes is the 25th-best tight end in the class with 23 offers to this point, and Ricketts, while unranked has eight total offers already.
All 2027 prospects are unranked to this point, but Edmunds already has accrued 21 offers which suggests he will be ranked highly.
