Ohio State made the top 10 for four-star defensive lineman Deuce Geralds, who visited Ohio State on April 1. The Buckeyes were included alongside Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Oregon.
Geralds is the No. 63 prospect in the country in the 2026 class and the No. 6 defensive lineman, and boasts 55 Division I offers.
The Buckeyes have also been busy extending new scholarship offers to 2027 prospects as well. They offered four-star defensive end and Alabama commit Jabarius Garror, four-star linebacker Antwoine Higgins, four-star defensive end K.J. Green and four-star offensive tackle Cameron Wagner.
Garror committed to Alabama on July 31, but the No. 41 prospect in the country does have some interest in Ohio State according to a report from 247Sports. In his sophomore season, he had 104 tackles, 21.5 sacks, 37 quarterback hurries, five passes broken up and four forced fumbles.
Higgins is the No. 4 linebacker in the class, the No. 61 player overall and the third-best player in the state of Ohio. He has 29 Division I offrs including some from Alabama, Auburn, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Purdue, Tennessee and Wisconsin, among others.
Green is also highly rated as the No. 43 prospect in the country, the No. 6 defensive end and the No. 6 player in the state of Georgia. He has a few impressive offers among his 18 he has received, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and USC. His offer came from the Buckeyes when he was on campus for a spring visit.
Offensive line coach Tyler Bowen, who has been off to a hot start on the recruiting trail with 2026 commitments from Tucker Smith, Sam Greer and Maxwell Riley, also extended a 2027 offer to Wagner.
Wagner is the No. 76 player in the country, the No. 8 offensive tackle and the No. 1 player in the state of Illinois. He has just nine offers at this point from Illinois, Iowa, Louisville, Miami (Ohio), Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Purdue, but that list will undoubtedly expand.
