With spring ball just under a month away, prospects have began scheduling visits for schools, and the Buckeyes have already locked in some top targets.

Nixa, Mo., five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell (6-8, 300), the No. 1 player in the country, said he will be in Columbus March 20-21, and will also be visiting Miami (March 17-18) and Michigan (March 22). He also said that he would reveal his official visit dates soon, which could possibly narrow his choices down from the top six he has right now.

Delaware (Ohio) Rutherford B Hayes four-star running back Favour Akih (6-0, 190) also revealed earlier in the year that he would be on campus March 17, the first day of spring camp for the Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes have also offered a scholarship to Malvern (Pa.) Prep four-star athlete Jackson Ford (6-4, 230). He is the No. 294 prospect in the 2026 class and the No. 20 athlete, although the Buckeyes are likely looking at him as a defensive end since it was Larry Johnson who called Ford.

With the Buckeyes offer, he now has 19 Division I offers, including a few from Michigan, USC, Penn State, Wisconsin, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Rutgers.

Bauxite, Ark., four-star offensive tackle Evan Goodwin (6-7, 325) who received a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes with new offensive line coach Tyler Bowen getting active on the trail. Goodwin is the No. 339 player in the country, the No. 29 offensive tackle and the No. 3 player int he state of Arkansas according to 247Sports composite rankings.

He has 22 Division I scholarship offers, which includes offers from Florida State, Missouri, LSU, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Wisconsin, among others.
