The Buckeyes were included in four-star defensive lineman Damari Simeon’s top four schools, making his list alongside Michigan, Penn State and Texas.
Simeon has scheduled an official visit to Ohio State on June 20, which will be his last of the four he has scheduled. He will go to Michigan on May 30, Penn State on June 6 and Texas on June 13.
Simeon is considered the No. 202 player in the country, the No. 26 defensive lineman and the No. 3 player in the state of New Jersey.
Three-star quarterback Legend Bey also narrowed down his scholarship list, with Ohio State, Duke, Tennessee, Texas A&M and West Virginia all making his top five.
Bey received his initial offer from Ohio State from running backs coach Carlos Locklyn and has been interested since then. He is considered the No. 430 player in the county, the No. 29 athlete and the No. 59 player in the state of Texas.
The Buckeyes are still looking to land a signal caller in the 2026 class and Bey is one of a few quarterbacks in the class who has shown interest in OSU, as well as four-stars Luke Fahey and Matt Ponatoski, among others.
