Senior running back Miyan Williams will enter his name into the 2024 NFL Draft, he announced on Twitter in a statement Monday.
“It’s time for me to embark on my next chapter and making my dreams of playing in the NFL a reality,” it read. “I have decided to enter my name in the 2024 NFL Draft. As I take these next steps in life, I will forever be a Buckeye for life.”
Williams spent four seasons with the Buckeyes, rushing for 1,554 yards and 20 touchdowns along the way, including the 158 yards and three touchdowns he scored in 2023 before he was ruled out for the season due to an undisclosed surgery at the end of October.
12 Buckeyes have already entered the transfer portal, and with Williams leaving for a shot at the NFL, there will be some new looks on the 2024 team.
TreVeyon Henderson will likely be another Ohio State running back to enter his name into the draft, leaving Chip Trayanum and Dallan Hayden to take on the role next season if they decide to return since Evan Pryor is in the transfer portal.
