Ohio State gained another transfer commitment on Monday with former Idaho State defensive end Logan George announcing his commitment to the Buckeyes.
With all four starting defensive linemen not returning next season, the Buckeyes will need to fill in a lot of playing time at the position, and George will add to the depth in the room, possibly competing for a starting spot with Caden Curry and Kenyatta Jackson Jr.
This season for the Bengals, George had 57 total tackles, 19½ for loss, 6½ sacks and six quarterback hurries in 12 games.
George wasn’t rated as a prospect on 247Sports composite rankings coming out of high school but his performance has been enough to grab Ohio State’s attention. He has two years of eligibility remaining after playing two seasons at Idaho State.
