Tyleik Williams, Buckeyes Fully Healthy At Michigan State

With senior defensive tackle Tyleik Williams off of the availability report and seemingly fully healthy, the Buckeyes should have all of their starters available in their Big Ten opener against Michigan State.

Williams, who missed Ohio State’s 49-14 win over Marshall, should provide the Buckeyes with a huge boost along its defensive line.

The Buckeyes seemed a half-step slow without Williams in the first half, where they gave up their first two touchdowns of the year and over 200 total yards. Ohio State made the right adjustments in the second half, as senior defensive tackle Tywone Malone Jr. did an admirable job filling in for the injured Williams, and the defense didn’t allow Marshall to score the rest of the game.

Ohio State isn’t completely injury-free though. Walk-on running back T.C. Caffey is out and will be out for the season with a torn ACL. Fellow walk-on running back Rashid Sesay was initially put on the report a week ago. Meanwhile, senior wide receiver Reis Stocksdale and freshman linebacker Zach Hayes are new additions to the list.

Neither Hayes, nor Stocksdale have received substantial playing time to start the season.

Here is the full availability report.
